After reading literally hundreds of blogs over the past few months I thought it was a good idea to make my own (and as you can see I chose Thumblr – don’t ask me why) where I can discuss (with whoever is interested) the latest in the mobile industry. Of course, at the beginning, only my friends will visit this site but I hope that, over time, others will join as well. After all it’s pretty hard to find a tech centered website who doesn’t have certain allegiances (or sponsors – how they call them nowadays).
Oh, and BTW – due to a lack of inspiration I am calling this blog “My New Blog”. If you have a better idea (hard to find one, right?) please let me know. Maybe I will even make a poll (after I find out how…lol).
Ok, so without further ado let’s get to my first article. This one is a bit personal as I actually own the gadget that we’ll talk about over the next paragraphs. So let’s get straight to the point.

As you probably know, the Nokia N9 got its fair share of attention in the past and it looks like it’s trying to crawl, again, under the spotlight. The Nokia N9 MeeGo PR1.1 update was announced recently and was said to be bringing good things to the device. However, Nokia doesn’t look like it’s going to stop there.
It looks like the Nokia N9 will soon receive yet another update, at least according to a couple of photos that have hit the world wide web and which show the Nokia N9 running on the MeeGo PR1.2 Harmattan update.
We don’t have a lot of info regarding the Nokia N9 PR1.2 update release date and neither do we have an official confirmation. Should the leaks turn out genuine the Nokia N9 MeeGo will be getting changes to the user interface such as new styles for the buttons, an application management button, separated camera flash options, a face recognition option for the Settings Gallery and also an “Insert face” option plus many more.
It’s good to see the Nokia N9 MeeGo get some love and not being left behind. We’ll have to wait and see what will happen to the N9 PR1.2 Harmattan update and when exactly will it be available for install.
Do you think that the changes brought by the Nokia N9 MeeGo PR1.2 update are welcomed? Let me know in the comments.

NOTE: If you don’t know how great this handset really is, let me share a few details about its specs.
Powered by a 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 CPU (Cortex A9 architecture), the Nokia N9 runs on Meego and comes with 1GB of RAM, 16 or 64 GB of storage, an 8MP camera (Carl Zeiss lens).
Yeah, I know what you’re thinking – why should anyone bother with N9 when you can get the Nokia Lumia 920, the HTC Windows Phone 8X or even the older Nokia Lumia 900? Well because of Meego – a unique and very interesting operating system. Oh, and one more thing: according to gforgames.com, the Nokia N9 boasts a PowerVR SGX530 GPU but I couldn’t confirm that with Engadget (the mother of all tech blogs if you ask me). Anyway, it’s a gaming powerhouse so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. ‘Till the next time…
